What is a Skirting Board?
Skirting boards are used to cover the joint between the wall surface and the floor to create a decorative perimeter around the base of a room. They also serve to protect the wall from abrasion.
Skirting boards add to the beauty of your interiors and are a widely used method by designers and architects to bring an appealing visual effect to rooms.
About AluBase® Modern Skirting Board
As modern architectural spaces continue to favor minimalistic slimline designs, metal skirting boards provide more versatile capabilities than traditional skirting boards.
From the manufacturers of EzyJamb® comes AluBase Shadowline skirting board, a one-piece aluminium profile that creates a flush finish skirting board detail at the base of architectural interior walls in commercial and domestic applications. A crisp and distinctive 12x12mm shadowline recess sits above the 90mm floor skirt, giving you a contemporary, clean line flush finish. AluBase shadowline does away with using multiple profiles and sections (such as P50 shadowline skirting) to create that sought-after shadowline look.
Installation is easy and all fixings are completely concealed. Joiners are available for accurately aligning linear joints, internal corners, and external corners.

Why Use Metal Skirting Boards?
Aluminum skirting boards are resistant to wear and tear and impact, especially in high-traffic areas that are often knocked or bumped.
AluBase Skirting Board Options:
AluBase is available as aluminium skirting flat or shadowline skirting. The shadowline profile is used at floor level, around the base of the wall. Joiners are available for accurately aligning linear joints, and internal and external corners. The anodised surface can be left as an accent feature or is ready to paint.
