AluBase® Skirting board is a modern alternative to traditional timber skirting boards. Available in three different profiles (shadowline, shadowline with rubber insert, and flat skirting), AluBase is equipped to suit modern finishes and commercial office environments.

Architects and homeowners have been increasingly choosing interior designs characterised by clean, contemporary lines. AluBase is available as aluminium skirting flat, shadowline or shadowline with rubber insert.
The shadowline profile is used to provide that unique line feature around a perimeter of a wall.
Where custom sections of shadowline are required, Studco® recommend specifying EZ Concept® Custom Shadowline.

EZ Concept products are manufactured from zinc annealed steel and meet the finished surfaces standard AS/NZS 2311:2009 to ensure it can be painted immediately with standard wall paints, without any special preparation, so long as it is free of dust, dirt and oil.
EZ Concept products are manufactured from highest quality zinc annealed cold-formed steel sections.
Yes! AluBase Shadowline creates the same P50 finish for skirting boards. In other applications, EZ Concept’s Custom Shadowline or Studco’s Trim90 shadowline stopping angle can create the same shadowline detail.
When creating a shadowline finish for skirting boards, AluBase Shadowline is a one-piece solution that creates a premium finish. A consistent shadowline is achieved, without the variation and cracking which may occur with two piece systems.
