Scott Disick is well known for his expertise in luxury home development in Los Angeles, and his impressive career in television. He has taken his latest project to new heights with a fully custom home in the Hidden Hills neighborhood in the Santa Monica mountains. The stunning home is the result of a close collaboration between Disick, his business partner Benny Luciano, and renowned designer Noa Santos of NAINOA design and architectural studios in New York.
The project began in 2023, when Scott and Benny purchased the original 1960s ranch property with the intention of transforming it from the ground up. The home has been meticulously redesigned and rebuilt and now boasts 7 bedrooms, 8.5+ bathrooms, a separate guesthouse, gym, and home theater. The impressive 12,000 square foot home is set amongst a large 1.11-acre corner block with lush, established gardens.
A layered interior aesthetic
With a home of this grand scale, the challenge was to create an ambiance of calm and cosiness, without compromising on premium, modern finishes. Noa Santos was brought in by Scott to collaborate on bringing this vision to life. A warm and inviting atmosphere was achieved through a sophisticated blend of European inspired architecture with a touch of relaxed Californian style. Varied materials, textures, and shapes layer throughout the space to form a sense of cohesion and harmony.
I wanted it to be cool, cozy, and modern all at the same time.

It was during the design phase that Disick reached out to EZ Concept®. From past luxury home development experience, he understood the value of truly premium doors and decided that the EZ Concept Door Suite was the ideal solution for use throughout the entirety of the home. The EzyJamb® Door Frames, EzyDor® Premium Doors, and RocYork® Concealed Hinges provided the ideal backdrop for a variety of natural stone and timber cladding, which were used to form hidden doors and sleek, flush openings.
The Ground Floor
An entrance that elevates
As you step inside, the grandeur and thoughtful design of the home is immediately evident. Custom wooden beams enhance the ceiling above the entrance, adding a sense of warmth to the naturally bright, expansive space. A minimalist formal living room is to the right, elevated by a custom fireplace with recessed floating shelves. The walls and shelves blend seamlessly, finished with raw plaster that elevates the interior architectural finish and is a signature of NAINOA’s design. The same plaster finish continues up the sweeping custom staircase where low voltage lighting highlights the white oak stairs. Recessed, white oak railing, customised to perfectly match the curves of the staircase, demonstrates the careful attention to detail that is a throughline in the home.
An office located to the left is flanked by a stunning view of the property’s established gardens, providing an ideal workspace for the future homeowner.
Expansive, modern kitchen & dining
Past the staircase, the ground floor opens to reveal an impressive kitchen. An opulent island takes center stage, crafted from Taj Mahal stone. A cozy breakfast nook is tucked beside the kitchen; surrounded by windows, it is the ideal setting to spend a quiet morning.
The kitchen speaks of high-end living. Gaggenau appliances are incorporated to enhance the high-quality finishes throughout, and a recessed stone basin provides a sleek, seamless aesthetic. Custom timber cabinetry offsets the polished appearance of the stonework, providing warmth and resulting in an overall ambiance of balance, and poise.
A separate formal dining room is elevated by the inclusion of a custom glass-enclosed wine wall to ensure the ultimate hosting experience.
An escape into luxury
To augment the calibre of this Hidden Hills home, a spacious bar and home theatre were meticulously designed and custom built to enhance the living experience. Both reside on the ground floor, following on from the second living space beside the kitchen, and are revealed through a clever hidden door opening. These custom panel doors are crafted to appear like cabinetry around the family room fireplace, but when open, they reveal the luxurious, hidden bar.
The open, double doors recess into the wood paneled walls, to become a fully flush opening. This inventive door opening was created using black RocYork Concealed Hinges, ensuring that no barrel or pin is visible when the doors are closed.
The bar that is revealed is designed to the highest standards. A stone island mirrors the one in the kitchen, and a smoky mirrored backsplash provides a sense of moody ambiance. Wide glass doors open onto a secluded courtyard to ensure a true sense of indoor-outdoor living.
Adjoined to the bar, a fully soundproofed movie theatre is paneled with custom wood and fabric paneling to enhance the acoustic experience. Bespoke lighting is recessed behind a floating ceiling to provide a warm, subtle glow. An EZ Concept Door Suite opening leads into the room, ensuring the premium finishes carry into the doors, flush jambs and door hardware.
I did them throughout the whole entire house, and it makes a big difference. I’ve always thought doors made a difference.

The use of bespoke panel work continues along the ground floor hallway. Here, the EZ Concept Door Suite has been used to conceal the doorways along the striking, oak paneled space. EzyJamb Inswing Door Jambs ensure the fully flush finished doors open into the adjoining bedrooms, laundry, and bathrooms.
RocYork Concealed Hinges provide the fully hidden hardware solution, to ensure the doors blend seamlessly with the surrounding paneled walls. EzyDor Premium Solid-Core Doors enhance the luxury feel of the door openings, ensuring the high-end design continues into how the space feels when used.
Similar to the theatre, the hallway space is illuminated with soft, warm lighting around the perimeter of the ceiling. With all elements combined, the effect is a seamless, earthy, and luxurious space, that speaks of Disick and Luciano’s high attention to detail.
Within the adjoining bedrooms, EzyJamb Single Rebate Door Jambs ensure the seamless openings continue to the built-in wardrobes, enhancing the modern finishes throughout.
The First Floor
Private primary suite
From the winding, custom staircase, the first floor expands into a large landing area. This space appears as a bright, open gallery, lined with contemporary artwork.
The centrepiece of this floor is a spacious primary suite. Entering the space, the Door Suite has been used to form a double, French-door-style opening. The bedroom itself has a large wall of windows, providing ample, natural light throughout. A lounge area, and spacious balcony offer a calm, contemporary retreat. His-and-her dressing rooms add to the comprehensive, high-end offering with an additional room that can be used as a private living area, or office. Double SlideSet® Cavity Sliders with CavKit® Trims recess fully into the wall, ensuring a seamless flow between spaces when open, and ultimate privacy when closed. The soft-close feature provides a luxurious experience, consistent with the high-calibre finishes throughout the home.
Locally made architectural finishings
A focus on creating a premium, custom home is evident throughout this project. Custom stonework, carpentry, and other design elements are a consistent throughline, ensuring a superior finish. When selecting custom products, local manufacturing is an advantage which can shorten lead times and guarantee a high standard of manufacture. All EZ Concept products for this project were manufactured by Studco® USA in Rochester, New York from premium-quality materials. The EzyDor Solid-Core Doors and EzyJamb Door Frames were pre-prepped for the concealed RocYork Hinges to ensure a smooth installation process, without the need for hinge routing on-site.
Tranquil bathroom design
The primary bathroom is an exhibition of serene, timeless design. The space has a presence of calm, with bespoke stonework encapsulating the room. The doors blend seamlessly with the surrounding walls, made possible by the EZ Concept Door Suite.
The stonework is perfectly book matched, providing flawless visual continuity. The bath and dual shower are enclosed behind floor-to-ceiling glass, creating a sculptural space shaped for quiet harmony.
The Grounds
Tuscan-inspired outdoor living
Scott Disick and his team have recreated a slice of Tuscany in the home’s outdoor spaces. Established olive trees create a welcoming arched passage to the front door. To the rear, ample outdoor seating areas encourage alfresco dining, and a fully fitted outdoor chef’s kitchen provides the ideal cooking environment.
There are several additional buildings that enhance the home’s offerings. A large gym, expansive guesthouse, and horse stable all included. As an equestrian hotspot, the stables and round pen were essential inclusions in this Hidden Hills home.
A modern pool is enhanced by a fountain feature, providing a European ambiance in the heart of California. A feeling that is re-emphasised by the addition of another fountain tucked in at the side of the home, providing a soft, relaxing soundscape to the property.
A modern guest house escape
The guesthouse offers a continuation of the same pristine, modern design as the main home. Potted olive trees reflect the gardens outside, with large windows providing an almost seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
White oak is again used in the kitchen and shower room to reflect the main home’s warmth and character. White plaster walls add a crisp and contemporary contrast, that add visual interest and enhance the serene aesthetic.
The use of the EZ Concept Door Suite continues throughout this space, to ensure cohesion with the wider design vision. The guest house offers a sanctuary, and a gentle space to slow down, equipped with its own small kitchen and bathroom.
Combined, the property offers a sense of tasteful luxury. With all aspects of life considered, the home welcomes gathering, relaxation, and privacy. Scott Disick’s property development experience is evident, with all details thoughtfully considered and meticulously designed. Noa Santos’ contribution to the project has resulted in a modern, but profoundly welcoming environment, both indoors and out.
